2007 “Spanish Frills”

The overlapping layers in this open rose remind me of a spanish dancing skirt so it has become known in my greenhouse as “Spanish Frills”.

The petal layering on this miniature reminds me of a dahlia..

I thought this rose might have potential as a miniature standard on it’s own roots.  The bud colour and shape is very attractive.

2007 “Orange Halo”

This tiny, fluffy minature has a pale cream centre and a touch of a salmon pink around the outer.  From a distance this colour looks like an orange halo, hence the informal name. I think it is a very beautiful rose and I hope it grows on well.

2007 “Hubba Bubba”

I have given this rose the informal name of “Hubba Bubba” because of its bubble gum shade of pink.

  Seeds taken from a carpet rose, the flower is very similar to the parent but more single than double.
